Privacy Policy

Notify about local changes — Git repos administration (hereinafter "the Application") is a Windows desktop application developed by sunamo (Radek Jancik, radek.jancik@sunamo.cz).

This page informs visitors about our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who uses the Application.

1. Data collection

The Application does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data or personally identifiable information. All data (repository paths, settings, preferences) is stored locally on your device and never leaves your computer.

2. Network access

The Application accesses the network solely to perform Git operations (fetch, pull, push) on repositories that you have explicitly configured. These operations communicate directly with your Git remote servers (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps) using your existing Git credentials. No data is sent to sunamo or any third party.

3. AI features (optional)

The Application optionally integrates with AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) for commit message generation. If you enable this feature and provide your own API key (or use the bundled Claude CLI integration), your code diff data is sent directly to the AI provider you configured, under their respective privacy policies. The Application does not store or relay your API keys or AI responses to any other party.

4. Cookies and tracking

The Application does not use cookies, analytics, telemetry or any tracking mechanisms.

5. Log data

In case of an error, the Application may collect diagnostic information locally (error type, timestamp). This data is not transmitted to our servers.

6. Security

We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
